Darwin Turf Club
The Darwin Turf Club sought to build world class facility that would further the appeal of both national and international interest in Darwin horse racing.
The scope included for design and construction of a 3-storey building with multiple bars, viewing boxes, and a commercial kitchen.
Quality was paramount for the project, given the project visibility and community attention. There was a tight deadline for completion of this project for readiness for the Cup Carnival.
Jaytex had to be innovative in many aspects of this project. From security, location and access factors, visual connections of the Grandstand, consideration of both existing and new infrastructure services and designing wisely for sustainable architecture.
