Building Together
The Jaytex team takes pride in Building Together. We maximise the capacity for learning in our workplace and last week, the team participated in Cross Cultural Training led by Jason Elsegood from Cross Cultural Consultants.
A complex and challenging subject expertly delivered with humanity, humour, facts and thoughtfulness. The course covered Aboriginal history and working with cultural differences and how we can best adapt our approaches, thoughts and decisions to ensure positive outcomes in cross cultural interactions.
The input from our young Indigenous apprentices who shared their experiences and insights were at times humorous but always thought-provoking.
The undertaking and continual up-skilling and learning of cross cultures aligns with one of our core values – Building Together.
